Análisis de temporada de incendios. Temporada 2020-2021
Abstract
En el área de secano del noreste de la provincia de Río Negro donde se desarrolla la mayor parte de la ganadería de la Patagonia, las sequías y los incendios son los eventos cada vez mas más frecuentes, generando en mayor o menor medida impacto sobre los sistemas productivos de la región.
Durante periodos de sequías, el factor humano no tiene ningún tipo de control, más que tomar decisiones y/o realizar prácticas de manejo de pastizales y con el rodeo

En el área de secano del noreste de la provincia de Río Negro donde se desarrolla la mayor parte de la ganadería de la Patagonia, las sequías y los incendios son los eventos cada vez mas más frecuentes, generando en mayor o menor medida impacto sobre los sistemas productivos de la región.
Durante periodos de sequías, el factor humano no tiene ningún tipo de control, más que tomar decisiones y/o realizar prácticas de manejo de pastizales y con el rodeo que le ayuden a disminuir las pérdidas en dicho momento.
Sin embargo, se pueden realizar tareas de prevención contra incendios, si los factores predisponentes a los mismos indican que va a ser una temporada de alto riesgo. Estos factores son las condiciones meteorológicas, el combustible fino y las fuentes de ignición.
Para colaborar en las acciones preventivas, desde el INTA, se publicó un informe de Alerta de Incendios 2020-2021 para el Alto Valle Centro y Este rionegrino. En el mismo se mencionó que, para los departamentos de Avellaneda, Pichi Mahuida, Conesa y Adolfo Alsina, el riesgo en general iba a ser bajo en cuanto a disponibilidad de combustible.
