Abstract

En la Argentina, el cultivo de Robinia pseudoacacia es reducido y existen pocos estudios sobre su comportamiento. Las investigaciones forestales en el Alto Valle han sido principalmente orientadas al cultivo de álamos y sauces (Salicaceae). Debido a la falta de antecedentes sobre el cultivo de esta especie en la región, el objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar diferentes tratamientos pre-germinativos de semillas de Robinia pseudoacacia recolectadas de poblaciones naturalizadas en el Alto Valle de Río Negro. Se realizó un ensayo de germinación con diferentes tratamientos pre-germinativos (remojo en agua por 48 hs, remojo en agua hirviendo por 10 segundos y lijado por un minuto). De los tratamientos ensayados, el lijado presentó una media de germinación significativamente mayor

In Argentina, the cultivation of Robinia pseudoacacia is limited, and there are few studies on its behaviour. Forestry research in the Alto Valle has been mainly oriented to the cultivation of poplars and willows (Salicaceae). Due to the lack of information on the cultivation of this species in the region, the aim of this work was to evaluate different pregermination treatments of Robinia pseudoacacia seeds collected from naturalized populations in the Alto Valle de Río Negro. A germination test was carried out with different pregermination treatments (soaking in water for 48 hours, soaking in boiling water for 10 seconds and sanding for 1 minute). Among the treatments tested, sanding presented significantly higher average germination rate.
