Three fruit fly species of economic importance are recorded in Argentina: Anastrepha fraterculus (Af) and Ceratitis capitata (Cc), belonging to the family Tephritidae and Drosophila suzukii (Ds) belonging to the family Drosophilidae. All three species are highly polyphagous and overlap their host range.
