Network of Beekeeping Demonstrative Units: A tool that contributes to beekeeping development

Abstract

A Beekeeping Demonstrative Unit (BDU) is an apiary representative of a region proposed by INTA PROAPI, to maximize productivity, ensuring quality and considering the well-being of the bees. The Network of Beekeeping Demonstrative Unit (BDU Network), formalized in 2019, brings together producers, organizations, companies, and local institutions to promote, consolidate, protect, and systematize innovation processes in Argentina. The BDU Network aims to consolidate, safeguard, and systematize information generated over time innovation processes promoted within the territory. To achieve this goal, the BDU Network has adopted innovation and information management as its strategies.
