Advancing Institutional Engagement for Sustainable Livestock Production in Pampas Region of Argentina: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract

Pasture-based beef production is not only central to Argentina's economy buy also significant source of greenhouse gas emissions. To support a low-carbon transition, a multi-stakeholder platform was established to engage producers, extension agents, researchers, and institutions. This initiative fosters collaboration, builds trust, and helps to co-develop strategies to enhance sustainability and reduce emissions at the farm level.
