The aim of the present work is to investigate the biological and demographic response of the aphids on four lettuce commercial cultivars. The bio-assays were carried out in a climate chamber at 10 ± 1 ºC, near 90% RH and 14:10 h L:D cycle reared cohorts on seedlings. Similar tendencia se observo en Nasonovia ribisnigri, excepto en Amarillo. La tasa intrinseca de crecimiento natural ((rm)de A. solani resultó significativamente baja sobre Amarillo, HMX y V. Roxa contrastando con Raider. En N. ribisnigri la menor rm ocurrió sobre V. Roxa y las mayores en Amarillo. A. solani podría alcanzar niveles poblacionales más altos sobre Raider y N. ribisnigri sobre Amarillo	es_AR

Similar trend was observed in Nasonovia ribisnigri, on these cultivars except on Amarillo where the nymphal period was shorter. The intrinsic rate of natural increase (rm) of A. solani was significantly lower on Amarillo, HMX 8574 and V. Roxa contrasting with Raider. In N. ribisnigri the smaller rm occurred on V. Roxa and it was significantly higher on Amarillo. A solani could reach higher population levels on Raider and N. ribisnigri on Amarillo	eng
