Abstract

En las campañas 22/23 Y 23/24, se observaron en distintas regiones sorgueras del país, síntomas en sorgo asociados a fitotoxicidad y/o daño por herbicidas. Estos síntomas muchas veces se expresaron en simultáneo con otros factores bióticos y abióticos confundiendo los síntomas base. Se repasa conceptos básicos y se enfatiza la fuerte interacción edafoclimática que afecta la eficiencia del herbicida pero también la inducción de fitotoxicidad en el cultivo, en campañas muy afectadas por la sequía y precipitaciones irregulares. La aparición y acción sinérgica de factores bióticos y abióticos afecta la expresión de síntomas y el efecto en la recuperación del cultivo y rendimiento, dependiendo además del manejo del mismo y condiciones climáticas hasta cosecha. During the 22/23 and 23/24 growing seasons, symptoms in sorghum associated with phytotoxicity and/or herbicides injury were observed in different sorghum regions of the country. These symptoms were often expressed simultaneously with other biotic and abiotic factors, confusing the base symptoms. Basic concepts are reviewed. The strong edaphoclimatic interaction that affects the efficiency of the herbicide but also the induction of phytotoxicity in the crop, is emphasized under a campaign highly affected by drought and irregular rainfall. The appearance and synergistic action of biotic and abiotic factors affect the symptoms expression and its effect on crop recovery and yield; depending also on crop management and climatic conditions until harvest. Symptoms are compared.
