The presence of the parasitoid Quadrastichus mendeli was determined in plantations of Eucalyptus grandis x E. camaldulensis in Montecarlo, Misiones. This insect is an hymenoptera (Eulophidae) and in some countries it is used as biological controller of the gall wasp Leptocybe invasa. In Argentina was introduced spontaneously.
