Benchmarking the estimation of optimal spatial resolution for biodiversity studies on Ebro region data

Abstract

The structure and density of species occurrence data vary across geographic regions. Selecting an appropriate spatial resolution is essential to avoid misleading conclusions caused by over- or under-aggregation of data (1, 2). Here, we propose a pipeline to identify an optimal spatial resolution for biodiversity analysis in the Ebro region.
